o Kashyap’s Pharmasave Skin Clinic which will be opening in March 2012 will help enhance the overall health of our patience skin from a clinical level. Our esthetician will provide skin treatments to the face and occasionally the body in order to enhance a client’s personal appearance. They provide homeopathic facials, neck and head massages, and assist in the removal of skin imperfections such as acne, moles and warts. Our esthetician will also remove hair through waxing and preform lymphatic drainage. Our esthetician will be known as a Skin Care Therapists or Medical Esthetician, through their work with Kashyap’s Pharmasave.
Hours and Environment
o Our esthetician will work in clean and sterile environments. They must frequently sterilize equipment and organize their environment for safety and work efficiency. They may also wash their hands frequently or wear gloves, depending on the procedure. Our esthetician will work in private, calm and controlled room. They may stand on their feet for long periods or may have the option to sit, depending on the treatment they are providing. Our esthetician will work at the beginning of their contract for 20 hours a week and within 3 month work 30 hours with occasional evenings and weekends.
Education and Training
o A high school diploma or GED certificate is required
o Completion of College or Post-Secondary Education with a major in Esthetics
o Licensure is mandatory and must be achieved through this program
o Must be capable and efficient at completing the following task:

1. Provide Skin Consultations on patience
2. Recognizing skin imperfections and recommend the appropriate treatments
3. Preform Facials
4. Preform facial steams
5. Preform facial waxes (eyebrow and lip)
6. Preform lymphatic drainage
7. Preform facial and neck massages
8. Preform Rejuvenation Treatments
9. Preform Blackhead extractions
10. Sterilize equipment

Other Qualifications
o A skin care specialists requires customer service, as well as personal service.
o Face-to-face interaction occurs between employee and client, so the ability to communicate and listen well are important for a skin care specialist.
o Time management is also important.
o Manual dexterity and arm steadiness are vital in order to effectively perform esthetician duties.
o Sell featured products and meet target sales goals is a requirement
